So after seeing the photos on Twitter last night from the Met Gala event, I have to say …
(Hell, I have no clue what to say right now!) Some of these “dresses” were a hit, some were a miss, and some were a hit, miss and RUN! (As in don’t look now girl, just run, run home and change, the cameras are coming!)
Although I may not be a fashion “expert”, I will gladly showcase the dresses that caught my attention the most and I will gladly tell you which ones I hate! (Because sadly, this list is literally full of dresses I hate!)

Solange Knowles
I don’t know what the hell this is or what the hell she was thinking, but this is definitely an example of what you SHOULDN’T wear to the Met Gala. (Or any event for that matter.) Is this the actual dress? Or did half of it fly up due to a large gust of wind?
Rihanna
Maybe this is one of those dresses where you have to see it up close to admire it? You know, like when you look closely to see the fancy stitching and stuff. But no matter what angle I see this dress in, I just don’t like it! From here it looks like some sort of get up you’d see in a Coming To America 2 movie.
Sarah Jessica Parker
What the FUDGE? The head piece has GOT to go! (Along with the rest of this dress and the shoes!) Shall we go home and start all over again? Please?
Justin Bieber
Now this is what you wear to an event baby! That jacket is uh-mazing! (Yes, uh, not ah, lol)
Zendaya
Why is the little girl, I mean young woman, SLAYING the rest of these ladies? I mean seriously people! She’s dressed better than 90% of you! (Maybe even 95%.)
Janelle Monae
Her hair, her outfit, her H&M custom made jacket! Janelle has got it going on! This is the most beautiful photo I saw from the event, all jokes aside.
Beyonce & Jay Z
I hate it!

Seriously, when I first saw Beyonce’s dress, I was like, ew. But then I saw this photo in black and white and wow does it make her look good! Shout out to who ever did this photo because if Beyonce had walked out looking like THIS I’d be clapping and shouting right now, “Yasss Bay yasss!”
Too bad she didn’t though!
J Lo
I don’t really like the dress, but J Lo’s confidence and fierce face makes me want to love it!
Kim Kardashian West
Kim’s dress looks like something she almost wore to her wedding, but didn’t, and since she already purchased it, she thought this would be a good time to show it off. (You were wrong girl! Oh so wrong!) The bottom half reminds me of a peacock. (Is it supposed to do that?)
Kerry Washington
OMG! Are those green shoes? Enough said!

I couldn’t figure out what the hell was going on! LOL! I’m pretty picky about things though, so maybe I’m just bias to the whole event, but it was just .. ehh! Lol. (After seeing her wedding I think I expected a bit more out of her.)

Zendaya’s look was definitely my favorite from the night. I think Beyonce’s dress is cute, but a little much. I would have liked to have seen the bottom lined since she’s showing some so much skin up top and with the cutout in the back. Overall, I’m kind of over the whole skin-tone mesh outfits though.

Yes Zendaya was my top 3! (Janelle Monae was just too damn stunning, as simple as she was that she had to take the number one spot lol) But yeah, I’m really not into the whole cut out dress thing. I actually liked the back of the dress, it was the front that I hated! Sigh … They’ll learn, eventually! (Hopefully!)

I didn’t watch but good lawd I’m so over what B, J LO and Kim wear!!! Yes their bodies look amazing but ugh…just ugh! JLo is gonna be 80 still wearing ish like that. And like you I don’t do fashion stuff either so I’m always like either its pretty or it’s ugly. These are just costumes. RIght??? hahaha

EXACTLY!!! LOL Just because you have a nice body doesn’t mean you can just wear what ever. Sigh! J Lo’s wasn’t as bad as Bey’s though. But yeah it’s either I like it or I don’t lol (And they could have picked better “costumes”. LOL)
