Song Review: Living It Up by Tamara Bubble

Let me start by saying…

This beat is amazing! If you’re not dancing while you’re listening to this song something is wrong with you (or you might be hard of hearing). Either way this song is definitely club material. I’m actually dancing while writing this review. But not only is this beat amazing, so is her voice! Rapping or singing, Tamara Bubble still sounds good. Not every singer can rap and vice versa, but that’s not an issue for Tamara Bubble.

Workout playlist material…

I might have to add this song to my workout playlist. “Living It Up” is very up beat! The song says, “if you’re not sweating, you’re not dancing” and honestly that’s exactly what I’ll be doing to this song, dancing and sweating! I might also have to add this song to my “Beats I Love” list because I still can’t get over how amazing this beat is.

Bars on deck…

Like I mentioned before, Tamara Bubble doesn’t just sing, she also raps and she definitely does a good job at doing both. I’m not a fan of weave, so maybe that’s why these lines stuck out the most. But you can’t tell me Tamara Bubble doesn’t prove a point with this song. A lot of people go out to party and use every excuse not to dance once they get there. I don’t get the logic behind it, but I get the point to this song.

“You having fun yet
Well you should be
Dont wanna sweat it out
Need it for next week
Well here’s a 20
Keep the penny and the recipt
1999 was a good year
For the same amount I could get her good hair.”

So yes, I’m in love with this song, from the beat to the lyrics, this song is great. And if you think it’s not I need you to comment and tell me why, because I honestly can’t find anything wrong with this song and I’ve listened to it about 10 times already.
