Book Review: Fifty Shades Trilogy By E. L. James

NRN Book Rating: A-

If you’re not into trying new things, and cringe at the thought of kinky sex, then please, do us all a favor and don’t read this book! We do not want to hear you complain about how many sex scenes there are, okay? Now if you are interested in trying new things, crack open book one and start reading baby! Okay, let’s take a tiny step back. If you’re going to read this book just for the sex scenes (even though there’s way more than that to this book), you’ll definitely enjoy this trilogy, of course unless you’re single and you have no friends with benefits. (Seriously, you guys! Don’t do it to yourself! Trust me on this one!) But if you’re like me and you’ve decided to read this trilogy just for the “troubled boy meets girl who changes his life” story then you may actually be … wait for it … disappointed! This trilogy was pretty darn good up until book three’s ending. I mean the suspense from book one to book two and then from book two to book three was great. I was dying for the next book. But once I got to book three’s ending, well that was it. This book was no fairy tale, but it sure felt like it once I got to the ending of this trilogy. So for that, I gave this book an A-. But other than the disappointing ending, it’s worth a read you guys! (If you can get past all the sex, because trust me, there’s a lot of it!)
